Darren is without question one of the best photographers you can hire. While searching for a photographer we experienced a lot of unanswered e-mails, unprofessional responses and inflated rates. However when we found Darren we immediately received a response and set up a time to meet the next day.
From there Darren was always so quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had and really got to know us. We spoke quite a bit before our engagement photos as well as before our wedding day and we felt more than comfortable with him taking our photos. My wife and I are fairly shy people who didn’t feel like we’d take good photos because we were shy kissing or being super affectionate in front of a camera however he had us completely comfortable within the first five minutes of our engagement shoot and was so creative in his shots. He made sure that each of the shots that he took and the locations were really personal to us.
On the day of our wedding he was so unintrusive and yet was able to capture some amazing photographs. The shot he took of us at the fountain at Elmhurst is literally one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. He mingled with our guests and even got pulled up on the dance floor at one point because everyone loved him! When you hire you, you aren’t hiring someone who just feels like a photographer but rather he’s like a friend who arrived at your wedding with a camera.
I cannot recommend him enough and would give him a perfect rating on any scale. 10/10, five stars, two thumbs up, you name it and I’m happy to give it to him. He added so much to our wedding day and we’d hire him again in a heartbeat and will be recommending him to all of our family and friends’ future weddings. I strongly suggest you hire him for yours, I guarantee that you would never regret it!
